📍 Tyresö • How will the city reach net zero by 2030? With a one-person sustainability team, the city had to find innovative solutions. Tyresö municipality, home to one of Sweden’s most popular nature reserves, turned away from traditional document formats, to a digital climate plan. This helped save time and resources by making administration easier, understanding the big picture better with data and allowing more time for implementation. Such as involving the local school in an annual assessment of the city’s climate action. “The platform was an opportunity to visualize, involve stakeholders and communicate in a way that we could not do with other documents. There was no need for a pdf version. Any static document would be outdated as soon as it was printed. Now we could all get on the same page - even involving the local school.” Felix Ockborn, Sustainability Strategist at the Office of Public Works, Municipality of Tyresö See Tyresö's transition → https://lnkd.in/g-mews6t
