olympian and reigning queen of gravel
Sofia Gomez Villafane is the reigning "Queen of Gravel." A scrappy Argentinian mountain biker with a confident spirit, Villafane comes to every race with the very clear goal of winning. At 2022 Unbound Gravel, she shocked the gravel world with a dominant win on a rain-soaked muddy course. She finished just off the top spot on the podium at the Life Time Grand Prix. In 2023, Sofia reached the top step of the Grand Prix in convincing fashion with dominant wins at Sea Otter Classic, Tushar Crusher and Leadville 100 MTB.
