Thank you all for logging in and playing since the launch of Dawntrail’s early access!

On the other hand, I would like to deeply apologize for the serious freezing issues occurring on the Xbox Series X|S version when transitioning between areas. This will be a top priority fix and is still being addressed by our engineers. We require time for the fix and its validation, and ask for your patience until we reach a resolution.

During the period immediately following launch, some PlayStation®5 / PlayStation®4 players were also experiencing inconsistencies in their PlayStation Network play entitlements and were temporarily unable to log in.

However, players have provided great support by using the World Visit System and Data Center Travel, which has helped ease congestion and resulted in a very stable overall login/playing experience.

Taking this into account, we would like to grant free game time to the following players:

Xbox Series X|S players

• Must have registered the full version of FINAL FANTASY XIV on Xbox Series X|S
• AND have an active subscription as of July 4, 2024 at 10:30 p.m. (PST)

Game time granted: 8 days (for a total of 10 days when added to the game time below, which will be granted to all eligible players)
* If players are using additional services, such as hiring of additional retainers, a free usage period for those services will be granted simultaneously.

Game time will be granted from July 10, 2024 at 10:30 p.m. (PST) onwards.
* Due to the large number of service accounts involved, we expect the process to take 2-3 days to complete.

All other players, including those on PlayStation®5 / PlayStation®4

• Must have registered the full version of FINAL FANTASY XIV, regardless of platform
• AND have an active subscription as of July 4, 2024 at 10:30 p.m. (PST)

Game time granted: 2 days
* If players are using additional services, such as hiring of additional retainers, a free usage period for those services will be granted simultaneously.

Game time will be granted from July 10, 2024 at 10:30 p.m. (PST) onwards.
* Due to the large number of service accounts involved, we expect the process to take 2-3 days to complete.
