The MTE Company was incorporated in December 2010, as a joint-venture with the Mahajak Group of Thailand, a long-established group in Thailand involved in a broad spectrum of manufacturing, trading, and services activity for more than 40 years. Since establishment, MTE is involved in the sourcing, sale and distribution of a wide and comprehensive range of professional sound equipment such as loudspeakers, audio mixers, amplifiers, signal processors, microphones, video-audio control systems and entertainment lightings. We also provide system integration services, consultancy services, technical advice and conduct training on sound solutions, as well as testing and repair services. We hold distributorship rights from Robert Bosch covering a wide array of Pro Sound loudspeakers and electronics with familiar brands like EV (Electro-Voice) and Dynacord. We hold distributorship rights from Shure, a leading global manufacturer of audio equipment including microphones, wireless microphone systems, in-ear monitors, earphones and headphones, conferencing systems, and more. We are the distributor of Studer, the broadcast equipment company with unmatched reputation by applying decades of sound and audio greatness to an evolving broadcast and video streaming marketplace. We hold the distributorship rights for AEQ, and work together with them to provide the wide range of products and solutions required for any Audio and Video Broadcasters. We have had worked closely with HARMAN Professional, and have access to well-known brands such as JBL, AKG, Crown, Lexicon, Soundcraft, BSS, dbx, DigiTech, AMX, and Martin. Harman Professional, a US fortune 500 company is arguably the world’s largest professional audio, lighting and control system company. It has its presence in all continents of the world.

    Mahajak Trio recently hosted a highly anticipated seminar for Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) on “Next Generation IP Systems for Broadcasters” by Lawo AG. This impactful event highlighted the innovative solutions and advancements Lawo is bringing to the broadcasting industry through their cutting-edge IP technology. Lawo's next-generation IP solutions are designed to meet the evolving needs of modern broadcasters, offering unprecedented control, integration, and scalability for audio, video, and control signals over IP networks. Over the past  10 years, Lawo has developed an extensive IP-based infrastructure, capable of supporting everything from small studios to large, comprehensive broadcast setups. A fundamental aspect of Lawo’s vision is simplicity—aiming to streamline workflows and make the management of complex infrastructures more intuitive and efficient. During the seminar, attendees were treated to a live demonstration of the “HOME” app, presented via online by Adam from Australia. HOME, Lawo's IP Infrastructure Management platform, serves as the central hub for their broadcast installations. It is designed to connect, manage, and secure all facets and instances of the live production environment, providing a robust and unified system for modern broadcasting needs. The seminar attracted a large audience, who were inspired by showcases of success stories involving NHK Japan, CBC Canada, Apple, Gamecreek, MSG, Sphere Las Vegas, and many others. Mahajak Trio’s Managing Director, Mr. David Yap, kicked off the event with an opening speech, followed by insightful presentations from Lawo's distinguished speakers, Gregor Erlitz and Tan Boon Siong. They shared their ideas, experiences, and perspectives on the SMPTE 2110 standard for broadcast with RTM, emphasizing the future migration to IP-based broadcasting. Their expertise and insights into the SMPTE 2110 standard highlighted how it facilitates the seamless transport of media over IP networks, marking a significant step forward in broadcast technology. Thank you to them for this enlightening and productive seminar. Let us embrace this exciting transition to IP-based broadcasting with open minds and a collaborative spirit. This is the way move forward for next generation of broadcast technology. The event concluded with an exciting lucky draw featuring attractive prizes from TRIO.
