Yong Park is a character in the 1995 novel Mortal Kombat. Yong is a former ninja whose ghost becomes Scorpion.
Yong Park was a former Lin Kuei ninja[1], who later left the organization and became a toll-taker. Twenty years later, he was killed by Sub-Zero for leaving the clan, a traitorous act punishable by death. He died on a watercourse of Yu, who resurrected him as a spectre. Yong then went to see his son, Tsui Park, and merged with him to become Scorpion.
