Vanessa Marshall

Vanessa Marshall (born October 19, 1969 in Santa Monica, California, USA) is a Dutch-American voice actress born in New York City, New York, United States. She is mostly known for voicing characters such as Irwin in the Grim & Evil/Billy & Mandy, Mary Jane Watson in The Spectacular Spider-Man, Black Widow in Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Olga Gurlukovich in Metal Gear Solid 2, and Gamora in the Guardians of the Galaxy cartoon. She is the only child of John Marshall and Joan Marshall (Nee Van Ark).

She provides the voice for Sheeva in Mortal Kombat 11 and Mortal Kombat: Onslaught as well as Sonya Blade.

• Marshall was Married to Andrew Kishino (voice of Shang Tsung and Sektor in Mortal Kombat (2011 video game)) through 2001-2007.
• In one of Cassie Cage's social media intros when fighting against Sheeva there was an easter egg of Sheeva's voice actress Vanessa Marshall under her last name texting Cassie if she was gonna cry uncle and Cassie replies that she is "gonna cry like a Carnary", referring to Marshall voicing both Sheeva and Black Canary from Injustice 2.^[1]
