I´m a filmmaker and writer, I love media franchises as much as I love stand-alone media (films, books, comics and games that are not part of a huge set of interconnected products). Mortal Kombat is one of my favorite media franchises of all, alongside with [[1]], Assassin´s Creed, Monkey Island and Pirates of Caribbean.
Besides those I also love a lot of other franchises like Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Cameron´s Avatar, Castlevania, Donkey Kong, Mario, Final Fantasy, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Street Fighter, Tekken, Zelda, Ghostbusters, Tmnt, One Piece, Dragon Ball, an many many many others.
