The Wizard Shazam is a character from the DC Universe. He is the wizard who gave Billy Batson the power to transform into Captain Marvel by saying his name.
Story[]
Shazam appears to Captain Marvel after he defeats Raiden at the Rock of Eternity. The wizard reveals the threat of Dark Kahn, explaining the abomination's origins and its control over the Kombat Rage, warning Billy of its dangers and very threat to the merged universe. Shazam then tasks Captain Marvel to gather an army to combat Dark Kahn and to find Superman, the only person who could potentially defeat Dark Kahn.
