Ruthay is a non-canon character that made his only appearance in Mortal Kombat novel. He is a small demon with yellow skin in the service of Shao Kahn. He can almost be described as a pet, and is usually seen in Shao Kahn's chambers. Shao Kahn constantly threatens Ruthay with violence and death, though Ruthay remains extremely loyal.
