The Chief Priest is a character from the Mortal Kombat movie and he is the leader of the Order of Light which also worships Lord Raiden.
He does not allow Liu Kang to take part in Mortal Kombat (since he cares more about avenging his brother's death than for the fate of the world), but Liu Kang decides to enter anyway.
This character is played by John Fujioka.
