Description

When browsing videos on WordPress.tv, it would be helpful to be able to search only videos with subtitles. The easiest way to do this is probably to add a "subtitled" tag to the videos.

Use cases for this include:

  • accessibility needs (can't hear the video)
  • no available speakers / headphones
  • can't use speakers / headphones in the current environment
  • trouble understanding spoken English
  • looking for subtitled videos to translate
  • search engines looking to spider the site for indexing
  • space aliens looking to run scripts through a universal translator for tips on open source software

I'm not sure when the Subtitles tag was added, but it seems to serve this ticket's intent.
