Trivia

  • M'Nden's is very strongly based on Munden's Bar from First Comics' Grimjack, and Haggard is clearly Grimjack himself. Hanna-Barbera's Herculoids make a cameo in the background. Another version of Munden's appears in Uncanny X-Men #245, also by Chris Claremont.
  • Several Micronauts appear in the background shots of the M'Ndens bar. The penciler, Jackson Guice, became popular from his Micronauts run.
  • Professor Xavier is seen wearing a jumpsuit from the U.S.S. Nostromo from the 1979 movie Alien.
