Muneeba was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan until marrying Yusuf Khan and relocating to Jersey City in the United States of America.^[1] In Jersey, Muneeba and Yusuf raised their two children Aamir and Kamala.^[2] Muneeba had a strained relationship with her own mother, which were worsened by her moving to the States.^[2][3][1]

Despite frequently butting heads with her daughter Kamala, Muneeba was a devoted mother. When Kamala snuck out to attend AvengersCon, Muneeba confronted her with her disappointment.^[2] Later, Muneeba was angry that Kamala ruined Aamir and Tyesha's wedding.^[3]

When Sana insisted on Kamala coming to Karachi for a visit, Muneeba relented and traveled with her.^[1] While in Pakistan, Muneeba was able to somewhat reconcile with her mother, and later learned that Kamala was acting as a masked vigilante.^[4] Although she revealed Kamala's secret identity to Yusuf almost immediately, she was very supportive of her superheroics and even created a costume for her.^[5]
