As the preparations for the Hellfire Gala come to a head, Ororo's eyes are pointed to the future, a future that takes her off the seas and over the horizon.Notes
- The flashback of Storm and Emma Frost isn't easy to fit with known continuity, considering that in their first meeting, during the Dark Phoenix Saga, Storm didn't have any chance to slap the White Queen before being rendered unconscious from a distance. Afterwards, she was stripped of her uniform (but even then, there was no time where Ororo could have slapped Emma, much less help her get up after). In their second meeting, in Uncanny X-Men #151, Emma once again renders Ororo unconscious and the two change clothes, with Storm not getting back in her uniform during the encounter. Shortly after, Emma fell into a coma[1] and before long both Storm and Emma dropped their classic looks.[2]
