Blightswill is an alcoholic drink from Otherworld that has the effect of temporarily neutralizing mutant powers. Storm and Wolverine had to drink Blightswill during the Contest of Swords.^[1]

Blightswill was also stolen by mutant-hater Reuben Brousseau, who sold it to the villainous organisation Orchis. Orchis in turn found out the item could make Krakoa sick and neutralize other mutants' powers. After some Krakoan students managed to defeat Orchis, Jacob Williams could use his powers to heal Krakoa from the Blightswill infection. In a secret e-mail send between Orchis members, they reveal they can always obtain more Blightswill from Reuben.^[2]

In the night of the third Hellfire Gala it was used by Moira X on a dagger to kill Jean Grey.^[3]
