I remember there being some characters from alan moore's captain britain that had some legal jargon surrounding them
What other characters have weird legal histories, either bouncing from company to company, creator dispute leaving them absent from marvel for years or even decades or other such stuff. Miracle man is the first that comes to mind for me, that guy is ironically, almost as legally cancerous as the character he ripped off, captain marvel
No it was a different guy
Well different guys in season 1's case but then one of them left, either way ennis had no involvement in either
I really wanna read the boys comics cause I've seen the most mixed views on in it
On one hand people say its nothing but edgelord shit
On the other people say it can actually be somewhat poignant and tackles themes of trauma, destruction of innocence and the military industrial complex
The discourse surrounding it is
Fascinating to say the least
This might be cause I have a friend whose a big fan of millar world and likes to tell me all about it (tbf I on the same boat I start rambling whenever I get an excuse to talk about magnus robot fighter)
Sure he's made edgy slop but he's made his share of heartfelt works like starlight which was a homage to the likes flash gordon
And chrononauts seems to be on the same boat. Then again said friend enjoys nemesis so take it with a grain of salt.
And to say he's the scummiest person on the industry.
The only reason you think that is cause there's magnifying glass on the man cause of his fame. Trust me there's worse but the nature of the crimes make me not wanna go into details.
All I know is goku comes dead last
He's the biggest brick out of everyone here
He flies and shoots energy
Meanwhile thor's got energy absorption and superman go the ability to phase through stuff
Yes I know they have more powers but in terms of versatility Goku's got nothing worth bringing up, and though I can't speak for seiya I know his reputation
Thor, supes and seiya are get freakishly stupid in terms of powers
Hell in versus spaces whenever people bring up seiya vs shazam people are impressed that seiya beats shazam considering dc characters on his level have gone undefeated by non marvel characters on death battle
Dc has a reputation in powerscaling
I remember hearing that Mark wasn't all to familiar with marvel lore, which okay it'd make sense he'd if thought they were lovers and they were like only for the beginning
But even then you'd think someone tell him that wanda and pietro are related
Its not the fact that it started that boggles my mind its that it lasted throughout the entirety of ultimate marvel, even got to the point where they umm, did the deed
Also hey bonk
Its ol karza ere
And why it went for as long as it did. Like I really wanna know.
It was a car accident I believe
Rest in peace
You introduced many people to the realm of comics
This feels like a match made in heaven
Plus just have have a scene were t'challa tries to track down the pred by have him follow the trail of dead animals and wakanda soldiers
You have summoned me
Now i'm gonna be honest
My knowledge on Cyborg is limited
But I'm gonna
Rom has two huge advantages here
His neutralizer can drain cyborg's energy or send him to limbo
However I would exactly say rom is stronger
He's definitely more durable, pladinium can withstand blows from terrax the tamer
But I'm not sure he's stronger
Sure he's been seen destroying pladinium armor, but that was only once and that was before pladinium was established to be the nigh impenetrable armor that it is, so I consider it an outlier
Overall even casual hulk and colossus are able to keep rom on the edge
So I don't think rom is much stronger then cyborg
The real question is can cyborg hack into rom
Since cyborg is able to hack into green lantern rings I think it should
On related note
I thought I'd bring up a funny thing regarding rom's speed
He states that it took 200 years for him to get to earth from galador
Early on, it sounds like he's been flying through space non stop
But later rom states he's been fighting for 200 years
Implying during that journey, Rom made some pit stops to fight any wraiths he came across on his way to earth, bill constantly flipped between these when writing Rom
You know this reminds of how kammala khan's actor would make burner accounts on reddit just to make fun of fan theories
Tbh
Its kinda based
Grundy and vega would prolly bicker a lot considering vega kills ugly people
Dc's earth 3 is all the heroes are villains and vice versa
Like we talked about how "earth 3" Peter parker would likely be an incel in this universe, miles looks up to pete the sameway some people look up to serial killers or mass shooters, venom was a beneficial symbiote that prevent peter from killing etc then my friend jokingly said this. Its so cursed yet I genuinely wanna know what would an "earth 3" Carnage look like, zero psychotic tendencies
Well
Can't say every issues is a winner
Issue 11 felt kinda just there for me, though I did enjoy bits of it
But issue 7 introduces us to my favorite antagonist in the series so far, Vinnie (which was one of my nick names in highschool funnily enough)
I like Vinnie cause he makes a great contrast to gwen pool, the ideal opposite. Someone who comes from world of superheroes and desperately wants to preserve mundanity compared to Gwen, someone who pretty much abandoned the mundane to live out fantasy of being a superhero. Well, gwen is just a hero cause she's a protagonist. Meanwhile Vinnie actually tries to protect civilians while Gwen constantly gets them in danger.
In conclusion, Vinnie is best boy (No my robot bias is not speaking I swear)
Moving on too the dnd arc, its good to see the gang from M.O.D.O.K back together. But really my favorite part is deadpool highjacking the story, (literally) basically taking over the role of protagonist for a bit.
So far, nothing bad, can see why my friend enjoys it, and though not something I'm super fond of, I got a kick out of it
Lag
Lag never changes
Well, thought I'd do a sorta review thing since writing this kinda stuff apparently helps with writers block
So far I'm enjoying it
The art by Gurihiru, though I wasn't found of it at first, it grew on me. Really fits the character and tone comfortably feels like a warm blanket
Storywise, I'm pleasantly surprised, I kinda like the sorta detachment Gwen has at the beginning, she treats her missions like video, like killing folks, but doesn't think about too much cause there's a clear disconnect. Storywise I wouldn't say its all that special more as a formal introduction to gwen pool, and you know what thats fine it was decent for what it was. Just a fun little adventure before the plot starts going. Its starts with fucking eggfu
Moving on another thing I like is batroc, its nice to see him be more then just a throwaway villain, I like the mentor dynamic between him and gwen. So far its not the greatest thing ever but I'd give it time to develop
Liking what I see
And I really like this
This here, this is beautiful, mwah
If you're at all curious to the bet
I told my friend, sayori about another friend who was into tokusatsu (think power rangers or kamen rider), and sayori said that he's prolly not straight since that fandom is very not straight. Turns out the guy was lgbt so I lost and well
I also made a threat, since I make write versus fights I'll at least have some form retribution in the events I taking up this bet
