Jane QuigleyHead Librarian Jane Quigley is the Head of the National Museum of Natural History, comprising eleven specialized collections including the John Wesley Powell Library of Anthropology and the Botany & Horticulture Library, and the Museum Support Center Library. She joined the Smithsonian Libraries & Archives after more than twenty-one years in various roles at the Dartmouth College Library in Hanover, New Hampshire, where she started in late 2001 as a physical sciences librarian covering first chemistry and later earth sciences. From there she went on to hold a variety of roles at Dartmouth - from Head of the Physical Sciences Library, to Interim Director of the Biomedical Libraries, and finally Head of Research & Learning for STEM, Business, and Economics. Areas of special focus for Jane include assessment and program planning, developments in scientific publishing and communication, and outreach. PublicationsPublications:
