Akira Jino (刃皇明 Jin'o Akira?) is the current Yokozuna and known as the greatest Sumo Wrestler of all time, surpassing Yamatokuni. Through out his career he has obtained 44 championships.
Appearance[]
Akira is a tall and imposing man, with black hair, thick eyebrows, a scar crossing over his left eye and yellowish eyes with oddly-shaped pupils. He often wears his accustomed yokozuna outfit consisting of a white yukata with an accompanying coat, but when not training or out and about, he wears a T-shirt and shorts. He's also seen wearing a polo shirt and long pants when playing golf.
Personality[]
His personality is complex at best. Impulsive, serious, understanding, outspoken, rude, he changes in the blink of an eye depending on where he is and who he talks to, as seen in his interactions with other wrestlers and people that come into contact with him. This is seen in the inner debates he holds, where his own emotions take form, showing a form of multiple personalities inside him, which he calls Jino conferences. However, to call him a narcissist is not wrong, as he think that people should make him want to have fun.
He loves sumo, claiming he loves it more than anyone else and is seen as justifiably arrogant, but he seems to sympathize with Reina Gojo, along with his wife, in order to stop Onimaru's self-destructive path.

He attended a Sumo exchange program at Tottori Hakuro High School, were he formed a close relationship with Shunkai. Due to Shunkai's stable already having a forgiener in his stable. He joined the Asahigawa Stable.[1]
At the age of 22, Jino defeated Yamatokuni who was unable to lift a finger. The next day Yamatokuni announced his retirement.[2]
