“Already a veteran IP Developer at Ubisoft, Thomas brought his tireless energy and analytical mindset to Ubisoft's Editorial Creative Services as a whole once appointed to a position of seniority. Tasked with the management of all the Creative Partners, his efforts to develop processes to give a clear framework to our missions helped strengthen our working relationships with the development teams. But there's one area where Thomas's position as team leader became especially invaluable: world building. By putting together processes and workshops, as well as inviting experts to help us explore all the aspects associated with the creation of a fictional universe, Thomas ensured we'd have the right tools to bridge together the world and the systems of our games. He notably spearheaded the creation of the World Building Toolkit, a method both practical and amusing to identify the various systems that make a world functional and therefore believable, and how they can be connected to gameplay elements. I especially appreciated the fact he always keeps an open mind for our own ideas and suggestions, always making the team feel valued and encouraging experimentation.”
