Big congrats to the hundreds of talents who worked on #AvatarFrontiersOfPandora, that we release today! With this game, we wanted to show that titles based on famous movies IPs could be far more than their usual reputation of opportunistic digital merchandising. I had the privilege along with 4 other colleagues from our Project Closing team to help Massive Entertainment - A Ubisoft Studio for a while to ship this game. Many learnings, like: 1) How to collaborate with franchise owner Lightstorm Entertainment & James Cameron to not only adapt but co-craft with minutia a worthwhile expansion of the movies 2) Central role of technology to materialize such an ambitious vision for world-building. First reviews and players impressions are out, and they are unanimous about this product becoming a new visual benchmark, our studios' success to create new regions of Pandora that are believeable, and an immersive experience full of "wow" moments that is truly complementing the movies.
