How You Can Help

For Consumers

Committing to our planet’s future means properly recycling our electronics of the past.

Unwanted and end-of-life electronics are not trash.  We all have a role to play in ensuring these old electronics including computers, printers and televisions don’t end up in landfill. Much of the plastic and metal in computers and TVs, for example, can be reclaimed and put back into the manufacturing supply chain and used to make new products. As well, many older electronics contain substances of concern that, if not handled properly, could have environmental impacts and cause health and safety issues.

The environment is no place for your end-of-life electronics.  If your old electronic items are not at the end of their useful life, you are encouraged to donate them to family members, friends or local charities. If they are no longer usable, bring them to an EPRA-authorized drop-off location near you.

Technology advances fast, but we only get one earth. Help us to preserve it and extend nature’s warranty. Recycle your electronics.

For Businesses

Industrial, commercial and institutional (ICI) businesses can also recycle their unused electronics securely and responsibly through our EPRA provincial programs.
