Why is this a CVG (computer + video game) template? --Cuddly Panda 08:38, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Where the Cavemen

[edit]

What happen to the Walking with Cavemen, why is it not on the template? From User:4444hhhh

It's not part of this series. In the WWM DVD there was a special about how they made the series. No mention of WWC. There's an encyclopedia with every animal in the series (well, not every animal, but there are most of the animals from WWM, WWD, WWB, TBOBA, CBD and SM). No WWC. And before you argue PP wasn't in any of those either, PP was made after both. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dora Nichov (talkcontribs) 23:53, August 29, 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Wws.jpg

[edit]

Image:Wws.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Space Odyssey

[edit]

Some editor keeps adding Space Odyssey (TV series) as a "related" program. It doesn't have "Walking with" in the title; it's not about prehistory, or animals at all. Such shows are correctly included in Template:Impossible Pictures but not here. Barsoomian (talk) 03:38, 10 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, that editor was me. Did you read the article? It says: "The film had initially been titled Walking with Spacemen due to the involvement of Tim Haines, the creator of the Walking with Dinosaurs series. This title was eventually dropped as Space Odyssey had little in common with the Walking with . . . series." And about the title: Primeval, Prehistoric Park, Ocean Odyssey, etc. are related WITHOUT "Walking with" in the title. Just like Planet Dinosaur which is really not the part of it. Who the hell said that? What are PD doing in the WW series? And why Ocean Odyssey is in the template if Space ODYSSEY isn't? You are inscrutable. --Primeval (talk) 19:02, 11 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for confirming and citing that "Space Odyssey had little in common with the Walking with . . . series." This is the "Walking with" template, not the "Tim Haines" template. PD isn't a "WW..." series, in the "Television series" section, but the "Related", as it was clearly inspired by the original WWD, involves some of the same people, and was promoted as such. "Space Odyssey" is no more "related" than any other Impossible Pictures production. That has its own template. "Ocean Odyssey" is marginal, it's CGI wildlife, but not prehistoric, I didn't put it in but if you feel strongly, go ahead and remove it. Barsoomian (talk) 03:07, 12 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
