It would be good to show evidence of this being used by public-facing web sites, such as a library or retailer. Andy Mabbett 16:41, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Andy Mabbett!
Responding to your request, I provided the example of just-published Guitar Craft scores from Robert Fripp, which are available from the publisher or from Discipline Global Mobile.

ISMN disambiguation?

[edit]

Hi,

ISMN is also a common abbreviation for Isosorbide mononitrate and it would be good to have some kind of link from ISMN to Isosorbide mononitrate but I'm not sure how to go about that so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Ch0411 (talk) 22:29, 12 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've worked it out and added it now! Ch0411 (talk) 22:49, 12 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Well done!  Kiefer.Wolfowitz 21:22, 5 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Definition of ISMN-9

[edit]

Need to define how the check digit is calculated in the pre-2008 version. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.231.116.243 (talk) 23:57, 20 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The ISMN international organization says that the check digit of the old version is preserved when exchanging with the 13 digit version. See https://www.ismn-international.org/files/Web_ISMN_Users_Manual_2016.pdf page 6. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.231.116.243 (talk) 00:35, 21 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
