DOB & Birthplace

[edit]

Hi, Someone added "England & Wales, Civil Registration Birth Index, 1916-2007" without title/date/url, Matching exact results for "Charlotte Ritchie", "Aug 1989" and "London" brings up only 1 person (ie here),
I would assume the person who added the original cite next to her birthplace had paid to view the record where it would state "Clapham" - I'm not in a financial position where I can randomly pay to look at sources so I'm assuming all is there and all is correct,
Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 11:09, 26 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Davey2010: Doesn't this kind of internet sleuthing go against the "may reasonably be inferred that the subject does not object to the details being made public" of WP:BLPPRIVACY? --Lord Belbury (talk) 11:43, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Some say these cites are fine, others don't but fairpoint to my knowledge she's never publically stated this information so have removed it, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 12:38, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
For the record, this interview, from May 2014, describes her as aged 24 (and presumably she didn't object to that), so we could reasonably say "born 1989/90"; but I'll leave others to decide whether that's worthwhile. GrindtXX (talk) 13:41, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Some kind of rough context for her age seems appropriate, I've added it with that source. --Lord Belbury (talk) 14:16, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Her birthday is listed on her IMDB page, which is linked on this article. Not sure if it passes WP:RS but it's clearly not a secret. -- Wilbald (talk) 21:19, 24 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Charlotte’s birthday of 29 Aug 1989 is given in her group’s official web page at http://www.allangelsofficial.com/. Billysugger (talk) 00:55, 2 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Songwriter?

[edit]

Just wondering if the "songwriter" bit should be removed from the article? In an interview she did for Channel 4/Taskmaster she said she's a singer, but not a singer-songwriter:
"In terms of musical tasks there weren't many which is lucky, I think. I sing but I'm not a singer-songwriter.". Source: [1] --185.44.4.207 (talk) 08:19, 14 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Agree. This is a clear statement that she's not a songwriter, and we have nothing to suggest that she is. I'm going to remove it from the page. GrindtXX (talk) 12:53, 13 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Need to add that her grandfather is Richard Burton

[edit]

Hopefully someone can update the quick facts 2601:343:281:2230:DACD:1352:8210:58AD (talk) 14:13, 12 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Her grandfather is not Richard Burton. This comes up repeatedly. A granddaughter of Richard Burton is named Charlotte Ritchie, but she is a completely different person. GrindtXX (talk) 22:54, 12 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
subject was 18 when this photo of the said granddaughter was taken. Clearly different people. -Bogger (talk) 14:56, 27 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Middle names

[edit]

Anne Elise is confirmed by Charlotte herself in a YouTube video with her and Tilly Keeper. Welsh7902 (talk) 23:11, 14 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Then you need to include an inline citation to the video, preferably with the timing of the confirmation noted within the citation. Note that YouTube can only be used as a source if the content is not subject to copyright.-- Ponyobons mots 23:16, 14 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have a link for proof of her middle names. How do I send it? Welsh7902 (talk) 23:23, 14 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You don't send it, you include it as a reference using the instructions at WP:CITE that I linked to above. Again, if the YouTube clip is subject to copyright, it will be removed. See WP:YOUTUBE.-- Ponyobons mots 23:27, 14 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
