Dutch painters

I don't think you can call early netherlandish painter (like Dirk Bouts and Rogier Van Der Weyden) "Dutch" painters. The word Dutch has no meaning here, early netherlandish, flemish, brabantian, those all seem to fit better. I don't think the adjective dutch was used for inhabitants of the Burgundian Netherlands. --Lamadude (talk) 01:38, 27 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
