In ELDEN RING, players may become aware of Empyrean Miquella, child of Marika and Radagon.
Even though his twin sister can be encountered and fought in the Lands Between, Miquella himself seems to be absent, presumed stolen away by Mohg, the Lord of Blood.
Should players choose to search for more information about this elusive demigod, they may find themselves led to the Realm of Shadow, ushered in by one of Miquella’s followers.
But who are these souls in service to a would-be god?
Miquella’s followers come from many parts of the Lands Between and the Realm of Shadow, but they have one thing in common – Miquella’s power of love.
Needle Knight Leda
You first meet Leda in Mohg’s Palace, where she will show you the way to the Realm of Shadow.
She is a mighty paladin with a fearsome reputation, though few have ever seen the face beneath her helm.
Like the other followers, Leda refers to Miquella as “Kindly Miquella” and, as apparent acting leader of Miquella’s followers, seems to be his most loyal defender.
You may also find her summon sign waiting to assist you with certain crucial battles.
Redmane Freyja
A former member of Radahn’s imperial guard with a frank and uncomplicated way of speaking.
She’s firmly confident in her skills on the battlefield and seems eager to fight once more. How did this defeated warrior find her way to Miquella’s followers?
She can initially be found at the Three-Path Cross Site of Grace on the Gravesite Plains, though you may also find her summon sign elsewhere in the Realm of Shadow.
Hornsent
At first glance, Hornsent seems a living contradiction.
When you meet him, he bluntly scorns the Tarnished and their loyalty to the Erdtree, and yet, he helps you find places where Miquella left behind parts of his being.
Is there more to his motives for cooperation?
Like Freyja, you can find Hornsent at the Three-Path Cross Site of Grace on the Gravesite Plains.
Moore
Moore was one of the pest followers of Malenia and her Scarlet Rot.
Now, he supports Miquella’s followers with useful items collected by his forager brood.
As a presumed Miquella supporter, you may purchase items from him as well. Should you encounter his fellow foragers, it’s recommended you mind your manners.
You can find Moore near Sir Ansbach at the Main Gate Cross Site of Grace, outside the huge gates of Belurat.
Thiollier
This isolated young man once met St. Trina and became completely fascinated by her.
He seems to be a very adept poison expert, and he is in search of the means to create a unique elixir. He sees himself as utterly weak and useless, apart from his skills in the realm of mixing poisons.
You will find him by himself, quite some distance from his compatriots, at the Pillar Path Cross Site of Grace on the northeastern border of the Gravesite Plains.
Sir Ansbach
A dignified and deliberate older man who was a servant of Lord Mohg until he met Miquella.
Now he judiciously wields his blade and intellect to support Miquella’s cause.
He also seems to be curious about Miquella’s plans here in the Realm of Shadow and will ask you to inform him if you discover any previously unknown crosses that mark Miquella’s path.
What is he hoping to discover?
You will find him together with Moore at the Main Gate Cross Site of Grace outside the tower settlement of Belurat.
Dryleaf Dane
Dane is a monk who rarely speaks but serves Miquella with the same loyalty as Leda.
He seems to value self-reliance above most other virtues and may have seen great hardships in his earlier life.
He can be found not far from the Moorth Ruins Site of Grace.
Will this unusual group be able to support Miquella in his desire to become the new god of this world?
