Existing memberships and download codes
If you have an existing Nintendo Switch Online membership and want to redeem a download code for a different membership plan, the different memberships may run concurrently. For example, if you already have a Nintendo Switch Online individual membership and you redeem a download code for a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack family membership, your individual and family memberships will not be combined but will run concurrently.
- If you already have a Nintendo Switch Online family membership, it is not possible to redeem a download code for a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack individual membership.
