Customer communications and important customer-facing documents, bills, invoices and financial statements for insurance, banking, utilities, medical, mortgages, property taxes, credit cards and phone services, are generated by core business and customer communications systems. Most of these documents are created in proprietary print formats (AFP, Xerox, PDF, PostScript, PCL) that are not effectively supported by enterprise content management systems (ECM) and content services platforms (CSP). High Volume Processing Server
CCM Gateway for SharePoint’s distributed architecture allows workloads to be spread across multiple processing nodes providing a scalable and flexible processing environment to handle large volumes. The scheduler reduces administration and allows optimal use of resources by scheduling archiving jobs overnight. CCM Gateway for SharePoint configuration tools helps to increase the speed at which to design, test and deploy archiving processes using an intuitive graphical development environment.
Archiving Workflow
CCM Gateway for SharePoint supports end-to-end archive workflows including file capture, document transformation, indexing and storage. Archive workflows identify different document types and route them for appropriate processing. This means different transform, index and storage rules are based on document type.
Archive Format Support
Customer communications are produced in formats such as line data, AFP, Metacode, PostScript, PCL or PDF. They are suited for printing but are not optimized for archiving and viewing. CCM Gateway for SharePoint can store the original print content in compressed archive files and convert them to PDF/A and PDF U/A in burst and non-burst mode for long term archiving.
Indexing and Data Capture
Customer communications files contain thousands of individual documents. Documents in the files need to be identified and indexed so they can be retrieved in the future. CCM Gateway for SharePoint supports a range of indexing methods that identify individual documents for future access.
Information Access with SharePoint
CCM Gateway for SharePoint supports SharePoint’s advanced features such as Libraries and Remote Blob Services, all of which ensure that archived print streams can be leveraged like any other content in the repository. It makes sure that print streams are stored efficiently using a storage model that also allows individual documents to be retrieved quickly. CCM Gateway for SharePoint is the only print stream archiving solution that is closely integrated with SharePoint.
Fine Grained Records Management

CCM Gateway for SharePoint stores individual documents (as opposed to large batches) which allows using retention labels to fully control records management. Accessible Document Formats
