Description

It seems like an obvious enhancement to me.

Patch shows them only if supported by the current theme.

+1, looks like a good change.

  • Keywords dev-feedback added; 3.2-early removed
  • Milestone changed from Future Release to 3.4

Fine with me UI-wise, moving to 3.4. Can a lead/committer take a look and second Nacin's approval for inclusion (or comment with why you won't)?

Post formats should show_in_nav_menus when the current theme supports them. Props filosofo, nacin. Fixes #16390.

Hi!

I'm using WordPress 3.4-beta1 and tried a to add some post format index pages to my nav menu.

It worked fine for gallery, images and asides. Unfortunately, the link to standard posts (mydomain.com/type/standard/) did not work.

It seems to me that #16149 has to be included into core so that the nav menu item for standard posts works correctly.

When querying for the standard post format is not possible in WP 3.4, "standard" should be removed from the nav menu options.

Regards,
Nick
