Celebrating Our Rockstars of the Month! 🌟 🌟Abraham Carreño: Designer, Marcom Abraham took on the challenge of developing all the creative for Marketing Leadership Week in June. His positive attitude and quick turnarounds made it possible for AMA Toronto to get the word out for this awesome events series through email, social media and print and digital ads in the Globe and Mail. He was proactive, reaching out to check in on approvals and revisions. He demonstrates the true character of a Rockstar. Thanks Abraham for the amazing work and being so easy to work with! Abraham has more than 14 years experience in graphic design and marketing. He is currently Philanthropy, Marketing and Communications Manager at White Ribbon. 🌟Raisa Temnova: Manager, Events Raisa joined the Events team in the winter and has increasingly taken on more responsibility. She has become a very active and dedicated member of the AMA community. She led the events team for Marketing Leadership Week events in June. Raisa attended every event and was involved in planning for each. She worked very hard on the set up and execution of the events including building the Eventbrite registration systems. Congratulations to Dr. Alan C. Middleton PhD for being named the very first recipient of the AMA Toronto Luminary Award! Introduced for the 20th anniversary of Canada’s Marketing Hall of Legends, the Luminary Award honours individuals who embody the long tradition of mentorship and knowledge-sharing that defines the Hall’s spirit, and who help to empower leadership potential among AMA Toronto’s members. A 2005 Hall inductee, Dr. Middleton’s career has spanned more than 50 years, taking him on a journey from in-house marketer to ad agency executive to distinguished academic. For the past 15 years, he has also given back by volunteering as part of AMA Toronto’s Mentor Exchange program.
