Refund policy

All transactions, including pre-orders and back-ordered items are charged at the point of purchase.

 

cancellation of an order

Orders can be cancelled anytime if the order hasn't been fulfilled/shipped. Full refunds can only be provided on unshipped items. The customer can cancel unshipped orders with the 'View Order Status' in the orders confirmation email or with a cancellation request to orders@blackscreenrecords.com stating the order number.

 

return & refund process for unused/undamaged items

Orders can be returned without giving reasons within 14 days of the delivery date not including digital content and gift cards. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If a customer issues a refund request, the customer is responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning the item.
The refund will be issued after Black Screen Records received and inspected the returned items. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Contact us with your order number at orders@blackscreenrecords.com about a refund.

Orders damaged or lost in transit using the shipping methods Local Post Carrier or Warensendung (unversichertes Päckchen) are not eligible for refunds, replacements or replacement components.

Damaged orders using the shipping method DHL Paket have to be reported to us as soon as possible within 2 days of the date of receipt to be eligible for refunds or replacements. Requests made beyond the 2 days window are not eligible for refunds or replacement.

To report the damages, please contact orders@blackscreenrecords.com with the order number and a brief description of the issue along with photos of the damaged items, the damaged box and the shipping label within 2 days of the date of receipt.

Once you've reported the damages with photographic documentation to us via email, we will send you further instructions on how to proceed. Please retain all outer packaging as well as the product itself until the issue is resolved, as you need to bring the damaged items into a DHL facility for inspection within 7 days of the date of receipt after we've started the claim with DHL.

 The next steps will be determined by the severity of the damage and the availability of items.

 

refund process and time frame

If a customers refund is approved the money will be refunded to the original payment method used during the purchase. For credit card payments it may take 5 to 10 business days for a refund to show up on your credit card statement. For returned items the money will be refunded after Black Screen Records received the returned items, inspected them and deducted the costs for the return shipping label

 

returned orders due to being undeliverable or unclaimed

If an order is returned to us as undeliverable or unclaimed, the customer will be notified via email. Original shipping costs will not be refunded. The customer is responsible for the shipping cost for a re-shipment of an order unless the non-deliverance is attributed to a failure of Black Screen Records. The customer also bears any costs arisen by the return of the shipment.
After 14 days Black Screen Records can't guarantee a re-shipment of the items. With no respond within 14 days, Black Screen Records will issue a refund for the returned order. Shipping cost are non-refundable.
