Chris Miller is the director for this new Paramount Pictures / Paramount Animation movie that will bring Peyo's little blue heroes into a brand-new adventure. Matt Landon is co-director. Kleine Schlümpfe, große Wirkung! Macht doch mal wieder Lunchbreak bei McDonald's. Es lohnt sich wirklich! Ab morgen startet eine großartige Promotion unseres Rechteinhabers PEYO COMPANY und McDonald's Deutschland LLC! 🍔 Von Hockey, über Handball hin zu Rollstuhlbasketball zeigen sich die neuen Schlümpfe im Happy Meal von ihrer sportlichen Seite. Sie verdeutlichen in typischer Schlumpf-Manier die Werte Gemeinschaft, Sportsgeist und Inklusion. Vom 25. Juli bis 4. September steht in den deutschen McDonald’s Restaurants eine von 15 Figuren als Spielzeug im Happy Meal zur Wahl. Eine weitere Figur ist exklusiv für Nutzer der McDonald’s App erhältlich. Der olympische Gedanke “Dabei sein ist alles” erhält eine besondere Bedeutung: Ganz selbstverständlich stehen hier Sportarten für Menschen mit und ohne Behinderung gleichwertig nebeneinander. Vier der Sportschlümpfe im Happy Meal haben eine sichtbare Behinderung. Auf spielerische Art und Weise wird Inklusion so auch für die kleinen Gäste erlebbar. Dass Sport ein entscheidender Schlüssel für eine inklusivere Gesellschaft und für mehr Teilhabe im Alltag sein kann, darauf macht McDonald’s Deutschland seit Dezember 2023 gemeinsam mit dem Deutschen Behindertensportverband (DBS) aufmerksam. Das Ziel der nationalen Kooperation ist, mehr Sichtbarkeit im Para Sport zu schaffen und die Wichtigkeit von Inklusion im Alltag zu verdeutlichen. Große Aufmerksamkeit für das Thema erzeugte McDonald’s bereits mit der Online-Kampagne „We the (In)Visible“ zum Start der Partnerschaft. Die neuen Schlümpfe bringen im Sportsommer 2024 nun noch mehr Aufmerksamkeit für das Thema Inklusion.
