Atos – a pioneer in innovation and research

Over one hundred years ago a Norwegian engineer named Fredrik Rosing Bull filed a patent for a “combined sorter-recorder-tabulator of punch cards” machine and so began a journey of innovation and research that Atos upholds to this day.

As well as providing our clients with digital services we also invent the IP, technology, products and patents to enable them to best serve their customers and employees. Through our research we also support our global communities, working towards the emergence of quantum computing, enabling academics and researchers to use our Quantum Learning Machines, developing high-performance computers and powerful edge servers.

Our innovation and R&D labs cover strategic domains including artificial intelligence, cloud solutions, collaborative workplace, cybersecurity and many more. Our technological expertise and our capacity for innovation are major drivers of client satisfaction and business growth.
