I gave this beautiful air purifier with air monitors a few months, was in frequent communication with the manufacturer's service representatives, and it was a much needed solution, however, it didn't ultimately provide:
1) accurate sensor readings of airborne contaminants in my home, including particulate matter and VOC concentrations
2) no evidence of VOC removal (which is expressly why I bought this expensive machine, and is what I desperately needed help with in my home, for medical reasons.

75% of the customer service team was completely amazing. Molekule has done very well with this aspect of their company.

Unfortunately, after months of asking for how to determine that any VOCs were being removed from my environment, I was given no protocol that could confirm it. My observations were that the device had no positive impact on VOC concentrations in my home (again, sole reason for purchase) which I measured extensively with 3rd party air monitors in addition to the air sensor on the purifier itself.

I am severely impacted by a number of VOC gasses due to an acquired neurological condition following substantive, prolonged chemical exposure injuries. I had hope for this purifier and its technology.

For me, the last straw was after 2 months of asking "how do I find out if this machine is operating properly" in terms of removing VOCs, as advertised, I was scheduled for a phone appointment with a specialist at Molekule where we could talk about this question (that I had posed repeatedly for a few months) and this call simply didn't happen. I'm unsure if there is just not anyone there to talk to about this straightforward question, or what. When I called in to check 30 minutes after the appointment time, my call was passed on to someone who knew nothing of the case and was starting me at basic troubleshooting protocol (which I'd already done numerous times) and re-calibration (which I'd already done numerous times) and then said "it's working fine" which it clearly wasn't, and so with sadness, I'm returning the unit.

I sadly can't recommend, but appreciate much of the customer service skillfulness.

it seems removing VOCs is still relegated to the domain of activated charcoal absorption, and for what I paid, I could have bought several HEPA filter units.

To the manufacturer's credit:
it's pretty
the unit wasn't out-gassing when I received it, it was clean
again: well trained customer service reps who were nice to talk to while trouble shooting

but what I find is that this product's VOC removing properties are ultimately a mirage, and the particle sensors never worked with accuracy (meaning the automatic setting for the purifier was also never accurate in application).
