Tools
7 Days to Die features a wide variety of Tools that can be used both to improve the efficiency of gathering resources and to allow the building of structures, thus improving survival odds in the harsh environment.
Each Tool is classified by the task for which it is best suited. Using the Appropriate Tool for a given activity provides speed and efficiency boosts. Sometimes, in the case of some types of resource gathering, using the Appropriate Tool also provides additional bonus resources. Most Tools can also be used as weapons, though not very effectively.
