The holidays are winding down but hunger in our area continues. Right now, your volunteer help is crucial at harvesters. You'll sort repack and distribute food to neighbors in need. Volunteering boosts harvesters ability to provide more food to those facing hunger. Scan the code or visit harvesters.org/give time. Please give your time and give back by helping us and harvesters make KC hunger free.

KCWE is working for a Hunger Free KC, and you can help by giving a little of your time.Harvesters is one of the largest food banks in the Kansas City region. They rely on volunteer support, and they really need your help.The organization typically sees a slump in volunteers to help sort and package food for people in need after the holidays. But hunger is a year-round problem. Volunteers are needed Tuesday through Saturday at the warehouse to sort and repackage food, or to work directly with some of the organization's more than 700 agency partners to distribute food to neighbors.
