Daniel McDonnell: Heimir Hallgrimsson gamble will not take spotlight off FAI
Shock arrival will need to hit the ground running to remove the focus from very curious process

At last Saturday’s General Assembly, interim FAI CEO David Courell presented a slide that was introduced as a Strategy Status Update. There was one entry on the list of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that attracted commentary from the floor.
A traffic light style system was applied to these pillars and targets; red, amber and green. Red if there was no progress, amber if the FAI was on the way there and green if this journey has been achieved. You get the drift.
