Landlord who ‘slept in apartment without tenant’s consent’ ordered to pay €14,500 after ‘reign of harassment’

A landlord who slept in an apartment without the permission of his tenant “began a reign of harassment” when she asked him to stop staying in the property, a tribunal hearing was told.

The tenant was renting a three-bedroomed apartment in Weir Court, Ballina, Co Mayo, for €125 a week with her young son.
