The Best Valheim Weapons
Every proper Viking needs a good weapon to wield in battle. Below you'll find a list of all obtainable weapons, including crafting recipes and spawn codes.
Valheim weapons get better as you progress through the game and find new materials. Each new biome has a host of unique materials that can be turned into weaponry.

Valheim Weapons Tier List
If you're curious which weapons you should be aiming to create, this list should give a general idea of how strong each weapon is. Bear in mind that most early-game weapons will be outclassed eventually, but that all weapons are viable at different points in the game.

Meadows Weapons
These weapons are the earliest weapons you can obtain in Valheim. You can obtain them from basic materials found in the Meadows such as Wood and Flint.

Black Forest Weapons
Black Forest is the next biome you will visit. Once you defeat Eikthyr you will gain the ability to mine metals, namely Copper and Tin, and make Bronze weapons.

Swamp Weapons
The Swamp marks a significant upgrade in difficulty from the Black Forest. As such, you can expect to find materials here that will allow you to craft superior weaponry, primarily Iron.

Mountains Weapons
The Mountains are a cold and unforgiving place in Valheim. Once you've obtained the Wishbone, you can use it to find Silver in this snow-capped biome and craft even better weapons.

The Plains is another step up in difficulty, and offers a lot of materials needed for gear like Black Metal and Flax to turn into Linen Thread.

Mistlands Weapons
The Mistlands has some magical rewards for those able to explore it. This is where weaponry starts to get a lot more varied, introducing staffs and other unique named weapons.

Miscellaneous Weapons
These weapons are not strictly tied to any of the main biomes - for example, for some you will need Chitin which is only found by breaking Abyssal Barnacles on a Leviathan's back. This is technically possible as early as the Black Forest if you venture into the Ocean, but you are not guaranteed to find one on the shores of that biome.
