Comfort Guide: What Does Comfort Do in Valheim and how to Maximize it
Comfort is something that you need to pay attention to the longer you play Valheim. It's a vital thing to make sure that you stay rested for a long time when you're out there exploring as this may be the difference between you falling to random enemies and surviving the long trek from your base.
Comfort will help you with that as it will prolong the time you're rested.
What Does Comfort Do?
Comfort and the Rested Effect is a stat that both work hand in hand. Rested is an effect that provides the following bonuses:
- +50% Health Regen
- +100% Stamina Regen
- +50% Experience gained
And comfort is a stat that prolongs the time you benefit from this effect. As you may see, these effects are great to have especially if you're going to fight a boss or if you're going to explore a new biome you found.
How to Maximize Comfort
Maximizing comfort should be something at the back of your mind as you explore the world of Valheim. Having the additional health regeneration as well as the stamina regeneration is very beneficial for dealing with monsters and running around. Not counting the massive 50% buff to experience gain, being rested really has its merits
However, this all wouldn't matter if you don't even keep the buffs once you reach the biome you want to explore. That's when comfort comes in as it extends the time these buffs are present.
The main way to maximize comfort is to place furniture around you. Each piece of furniture provides a different level of comfort. Here are the comfort values they provide:
