Judge, Jury, Executioner
Episode 211: Judge, Jury, Executioner
Directed by: Greg Nicotero
Written by: Angela Kang
Original U.S. Air Date: March 4, 2012
Summary: The group has to make a decision about what to do with Randall. Dale talks Rick into giving him a day to try to convince people not to kill the young man. Meanwhile, Carl goes off on his own and finds a zombie stuck in some mud. He teases it until it gets free and nearly kills him, but he’s able to run back to the farm. When the group convenes to decide Randall’s fate, Andrea is the only one who agrees with Dale, though even she seems to only do it halfheartedly. Rick, Shane, and Daryl go out to the barn, and Rick is about to shoot Randall in the head when Carl sneaks in and tells him to do it. This causes Rick to not be able to, and Andrea goes to find Dale to tell him the news. However, Dale is attacked, and his stomach is ripped open by the same zombie that Carl taunted earlier in the day. Rick can’t bring himself to pull the trigger, but Daryl steps up and shoots Dale in the head to put him out of his misery…

And I'm guessing some may have even been cheering. Read more.
