How To Level Up
This How To Level Up guide is a handy checklist to help you level up your characters in The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. There's one way to level up, but you can speed up the process by doing specific things.
How To Level Up
Leveling up isn't too complicated. All you need to do is play a match and complete it. Once you've done that, you can collect all the XP you earned from that specific game. It's worth mentioning that you'll gain more XP based on what you do during your match.
For example, if you're playing as a member of the Family, you'll gain more XP for feeding Grandpa, killing Victims, setting traps, or turning the generator back on. But if you're playing as a Victim, you'll gain more XP for healing your teammates, repairing fuse boxes, destroying batteries, and escaping close encounters. But don't worry because you'll end up doing a lot of these things without even realizing it as you play through the game.
Once you've collected your XP and leveled up, you can start spending your Skill Tree Points. You can spend these points by going to the Customization tab in the main menu, or you can do it right before you load into a game when selecting a character.
Now that you've selected a character scroll over to Skill Tree. You'll see how many skill tree points you have by looking at the number next to the tree icon on the top right of your screen.
All that's left for you to do is to start spending your points. Here is where you can unlock different perks that you can equip and extra attribute points. Don't worry about spending your points because you can respec whenever you want for free.
After you've spent some points, you'll have a few attribute points you can use. To do this, go to the Loadouts section and scroll down to Attributes. You'll then be able to see how many points you have, and these can be used to upgrade any of your stats.
