The Watering Hole
The story quest The Watering Hole is a DLC quest that is part of the Vault-Tec Workshop Walkthrough.
Time for the second of the four experiments you'll be running on settlers in Vault 88!
This one requires that you head out of the Vault and over to the Hallucigen, Inc. building where you'll have to pick up some notes for the Overseer. The trunk with the notes can be found in the room with the chemistry table and enemy using the Stealth Boy. This is just before you reach the exit that leads back into the Commonwealth.
Now that you have the notes, it's time to do some testing!
Each experiment will require you to have a power generator that's hooked up to a terminal that connects to the experiment tool itself. You can find the needed objects by entering edit mode and going to:
- Power > Generators > Generator - Medium
- Power > Miscellaneous > Terminal
- Special > Soda Fountain Prototype
Do take note that the generator should be a medium instead of a small. You won't need it now, but the final mission will require the extra power!
Once you have everything running, enter the terminal and select one of three different experiments you can run on Clem:
- Appetite Suppressant - severely decreases appetite.
- Mood Enhancer - pumps drugs into drink.
- Generic Caffeination - just good 'ol soda.
After Clem and the other settler have their drink, skip ahead and an hour to see how they're doing. Talk with the Overseer to finish up the quest and to start Vision of the Future.
