'Vice President Trump' And Weird Whispers: The Internet Reacts To Biden's Conference Gaffes
With Joe Biden facing calls from former supporters and members of his own party to drop out of the presidential race, Thursday's solo press conference was a crucial opportunity for Biden to reassure fellow Democrats and voters that he's still the man for the job.
Unfortunately, the arguments Biden made in defense of his competence were overshadowed by gaffes and confusing behavior.
The 81-year-old referred to Kamala Harris as "Vice President Trump," answered some questions in a weird, raspy whisper and, at an earlier NATO event, introduced Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as "President Putin." Yikes.
