The Shark FlexStyle H430 is better than Dyson ( the previous industry leader) at half the price. It is well made with great attachments that work ( btush, curlers , styling concentrator…) that are effective, but do not danage your hair and are easy to use! The weight on the unit is light . There are videos ( free- just scan on your phone) that help you learn to optimally use the dryer/ styler although 5 minutes of examination will also get you going ( like the I Phone it is very intuitive). It is a functional , well- made dryer/ stylet that will serve you well. I love it!!! It is the best hair dryer I have ever owned. Uses the Shark technology with powerful, yet safe blowing- heat and blowing are adjustable. Great unit, wonderful value- must get the storage bag snd take care of it!!! Will serve you well and you will have smooth bouncy great styled hair in a couple of minutes.
10/10!!!! Sorry I waited so long to buy it.

Love it so far
The attached picture isn’t great but it shows my first attempt with the air wrap tool. I was very pleased! I have fine wavy/curly hair but a lot of it. I first dried with the dryer to get it about half dry, then added product and used the round brush tool to get a smooth blowout with some volume, then went in with the air wrap. It takes a bit of practice but once you get it it’s not hard at all. The trick is to hold a section of your hair and the put the tool near the dangling ends, the when it starts wrapping, wave it back and forth a little so it grabs it all. There’s no hair pulling at all.A few things to note on the air wrap:1) definitely section out your hair. I didn’t so it probably took longer because I missed some spots.2) use product- I used some before but didn’t after and the curls are falling. A little hair spray should work fine.3) the cool shot button is crucial to set the curl4) there is a wrap tool for each side of your face, make sure to switch it out5) after you use the cool shot for about 10 seconds, you have to turn off the tool entirely to gently pull and release the curl. It’s a bit weird to have to keep turning it on and off but don’t be shy about using both hands, one to hold the tool and the other to turn it off. You get used to it.Overall, really happy with this after one use!

Okay so I’m growing my thin hair out and I bleach it too so I was looking for a way to have some volume without the damage of a curling iron. I watched a couple of TikTok’s that have techniques that were helpful for us (thin hair girls).
1. Use some volumizing mousse and spray your hair with a heat protector, I like the Wow products. Blow dry with the brush or round brush attachment until almost dry. Damp won’t hold curl so don’t try and fry your hair!
2. Start with small sections and grab the middle of your hair to get the ends to wrap evenly!
3. Do not use the highest air setting or else you’ll be frizz central, I use the medium setting for both air and heat. You have to change the barrels for each side of your hair.
4. 10 seconds on the heat, 10 seconds pressing and holding the cool button.
5. Try not to touch the curls or brush them out for at least 5-10 minutes after or they will fall. If you can pin them up in the curl that’s even better.
6. It says to turn the device off while you unwrap but I’ve found not doing that gives me a longer lasting curl at the bottom. Last and final step is to Hairspray I like the Big Sexy or Kenra 25!
This technique will give a large curl, not tight and will look like a glorious blowout!!
