Rachel Lance

Rachel Lance is a biomedical engineer who specializes in patterns of injury and trauma from explosions. Her investigations of historical blasts include incidents from WWI, WWII, and the explosion set by the submarine HL Hunley, which was the topic of her recent book In the Waves: My Quest to Solve the Mystery of a Civil War Submarine.
