NEWS ON CW 18 STARTS NOW. SHE WAS JUST 13 YEARS OLD AND NOW DETECTIVES ARE LOOKING FOR A PERSON OF INTEREST IN CONNECTION TO A LITTLE GIRL’S MURDER. WESH 2’S GAIL PASCHALL-BROWN SPOKE WITH SEVERAL RESIDENTS TONIGHT, ONE WHO SAYS HE’S SEEN THAT MAN. WHEN I SAW THIS, I SAID, WOW, THEN I HAVE A LITTLE GIRL, TOO. SO, YOU KNOW, IT’S LIKE, THAT HURT ME REAL BAD. WE SHOWED SEVERAL RESIDENTS AT THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX ALONG RIO GRANDE AVENUE. A FLIER FROM THIS VIDEO. ORANGE COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE RELEASED ON WEDNESDAY. THIS MAN IS A PERSON OF INTEREST IN THE MURDER OF 13 YEAR OLD ROSE DE SHOIGU. SHE WAS KILLED ON JULY FOURTH ON SOUTH RIO GRANDE AVENUE. THIS RESIDENT, WHO DIDN’T WANT TO BE ON CAMERA, SAYS HE’S SEEN HIM. YES. WHERE? RIGHT THERE. WALKING ON RIO GRANDE SOMETIME. HE CARRIED A BLACK BAG. SOUP, SOUP, SOUP. KHERSON ON HIS HAND. AND THEN SOMETIMES HE EVEN ASKED ME FOR A DOLLAR. THIS PERSON OF INTEREST IS SEEN WEARING WHITE PANTS, A PINK SHIRT AND IT LOOKS LIKE HE’S HOLDING A BAG AS HE LEAVES A PARKING LOT. SO WHEN I SEE THESE FLIERS, I CAN’T BELIEVE HE’S THE ONE WHO DOING THIS. I CAN’T BELIEVE OF INTEREST RIGHT NOW. WE DON’T KNOW IF HE’S GOING TO BE A SUSPECT OR NOT, BUT YOU’VE SEEN HIM AROUND. DOES HE LIVE HERE OR IS HE A TRANSIENT HOMELESS? HOMELESS? SOMETIMES. HE USED TO, UM. I WAS TALKING TO A FRIEND OF MY YESTERDAY. HE TOLD ME THAT HE USED TO. THERE’S A POOL BACK THERE IN THE APARTMENT. HE USED TO SLEEP THERE ALL NIGHT WHEN ORANGE COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPUTIES ARRIVED ON JULY 4TH, THEY SAID THEY FOUND THE GIRL UNRESPONSIVE WITH OBVIOUS SIGNS OF TRAUMA. SHE LATER DIED AT THE HOSPITAL. IT’S JUST SO SAD THAT IT’S A 13 YEAR OLD GIRL. I. I WOULD HAVE NEVER EXPECTED IT AT A PLACE LIKE THIS. THIS IS JUST BEYOND ME. CRAZY. TAKE ANOTHER LOOK. The Orange County Sheriff's Office has released a video that shows a person of interest in the death of a 13-year-old girl on July 4. OCSO homicide detectives are asking for any information about the person in the video. Rose Thalie Dieujuste was found with obvious signs of trauma on South Rio Grande Avenue in Orlando. She was rushed to the hospital but later died from her injuries. WESH 2 asked the resident where he had seen the man. “Walking right there on Rio Grande, sometimes he carries a black bag, suitcase on his hand and then sometimes he even ask me for a dollar,” the resident replied.The person of interest was seen leaving the parking lot wearing white pants and a pink shirt. He seemed to be holding a bag as he left the parking lot. "It's just so sad that it's a 13-year-old girl. I would have never expected it at a place like this. WESH 2 asked the resident where he had seen the man.
