Below are the detailed steps:
- From the WordPress dashboard, navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Sequential Order Number.
- Under the Settings section, enable the Search orders option.
- Click on Save changes to save the updates.
- Now, head to the WooCommerce Orders (WooCommerce > Orders) page.
- Here, go to the Search Panel at the top right corner of the Orders page.
- From the Search criteria dropdown, select Order Number.
- Type in the sequential order number to search in the Search Input field.
- Finally, click on Search orders to complete the search.
Use Case
The store owner needs to search for all the orders in the store with the prefix ORDER. The store owner heads to the Search panel, selects Order Number as the search criteria, types in ORDER in the search input field, and initiates the search. The search results will appear as shown below:
