Angelette Aviles hosts Saturday mornings on WBAL NewsRadio from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. She joined WBAL News Radio in the winter of 2023.
Prior to joining WBAL, Aviles spent time working communications in the sports, political, and commercial industries. In 2006, she launched AMG, a communications and branding firm excelling in developing earned media opportunities for her clients.
Over time, Aviles became a well-respected source for news commentary and was featured on FNC’s Fox & Friends, Univision, the Associated Press, Fox-13 in Tampa Bay, The Tampa Bay Times, and weekly political talk show Florida this Week.
Aviles was also a contributor to Newt Gingrich Communications, The Americano, and was a columnist with the Capital Gazette.
While living in Florida, Aviles served as a gubernatorial appointee for the Early Learning Coalition Board.
Here in Maryland, she served as a gubernatorial appointee on the Commission of Hispanic Affairs.
Angelette says one of her proudest accomplishments was producing and directing several short docu-series focusing on the positive and negative policy impacts on individuals related to education, immigration, and energy.
In her free time, Aviles enjoys motorcycle riding, which she documents on her YouYube channel, Motorcycle Destinations.
