Fall TV report card: How's the new class doing?
The Dec. 6 episode will mark James Franco's third time hosting along with Nicki Minaj's second appearance as musical guest. Martin Freeman makes his hosting debut along with fellow SNL newbie Charli XCX on Dec. 13. And SNL will take its final bow this year with host Amy Adams and musical guest One Direction on Dec. 20, three days before the boy band's NBC holiday special airs.
